This is a short story illustrates the consequences of turning away from God and the constant ache we hold for Him, which nothing else in this world can satisfy. The story suggests suicide as it was inspired by a loved one who was so lost in despair that he took his own life. What happens after that fatal mistake is unknown to us but in story writing one can take creative liberties to write a comforting end to a tragic story.
